BOFA Securities Buys 1.68% in Angel One, 0.72% in Nuvama Wealth in Bulk Deals
In significant open market transactions on the BSE, BOFA Securities Europe SA has acquired sizeable stakes in Angel One Ltd and Nuvama Wealth Management Ltd, signaling foreign institutional interest in Indian retail broking and wealth management firms. BOFA picked up 15,19,541 equity shares of Angel One, representing 1.68% of the paid-up capital, at an average price of Rs 2,293.21 per share. Simultaneously, Oxbow Master Fund offloaded 15,22,269 shares at nearly the same average price, Rs 2,293.20, indicating a full exit.
Angel One shares, despite the transaction, closed slightly lower at Rs 2,328.50, down 0.23% on the BSE.
BOFA Securities also acquired a 0.72% stake in Nuvama Wealth Management, purchasing 2,59,458 shares at an average price of Rs 5,930.43 per share. Once again, the seller was Oxbow Master Fund, which sold 2,60,414 shares at Rs 5,930.40 per share.
Shares of Nuvama Wealth rose 1.25% to close at Rs 5,944, reflecting a marginally positive market response to the transaction.

Two high-value block deals also marked the trading day. Goldman Sachs (Singapore) Pte – ODI purchased 55,000 shares of Mankind Pharma at an average price of Rs 2,434.10 per share. The shares were sold by Copthall Mauritius Investment, a known institutional investor. However, Mankind Pharma stock ended the session down 0.85% at Rs 2,413.35, indicating muted market sentiment despite institutional activity.
In another transaction, promoter entity VS Trust acquired 5,56,375 shares of TVS Holdings at Rs 9,008.30 per share from fellow promoter Sundaram Finance Holdings in an internal reallocation. These promoter transfers are often aimed at simplifying ownership structures or balancing intra-group holdings. TVS Holdings stock closed at Rs 8,933.55, a decline of 0.83%.
