India Names Pakistan Army Officials Present at LeT Terrorists’ Funeral After Operation Sindoor

Indian Foreign Secretary Names Senior Pakistani Officials at Terrorist Funeral

In a bold diplomatic offensive, India publicly released the names of senior Pakistan Army and police officials who were present at the funeral of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists eliminated during Operation Sindoor, highlighting Islamabad’s complicity in supporting terror infrastructure. At a press briefing, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri presented photographic evidence showing uniformed Pakistani military and law enforcement personnel offering prayers behind the coffins of slain terrorists.

The funeral, held in Muridke, was led by Abdul Rauf, a globally designated terrorist and LeT commander. The Indian government identified top Pakistani officials in attendance, including:

  • Lieutenant General Fayyaz Hussain Shah, Commander of the IV Corps, Lahore

  • Major General Rao Imran Sartaj, 11th Infantry Division, Lahore

  • Brigadier Mohammad Furqan Shabbir

  • Dr Usman Anwar, Inspector General, Punjab Police

  • Malik Sohaib Ahmed Bherth, Member of the Provincial Assembly, Punjab

India asserted that the terrorists were buried with full state honours, their coffins draped in Pakistani flags, and attended by members of the banned Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD), affiliated with Hafiz Saeed.

Highlights:

  • India publicly names senior Pakistan Army and police officers at funeral of LeT terrorists.

  • Funerals led by global terrorist Abdul Rauf, held with state honours.

  • Foreign Secretary shows photo proof; slams Pakistan’s duplicity on terrorism.

Operation Sindoor: India’s Retaliatory Strikes Kill Over 100 Terrorists Across PoJK, Pakistan

India’s Operation Sindoor, launched in retaliation for the May 6 Pahalgam terror attack which killed 26 civilians and soldiers, resulted in the elimination of over 100 terrorists and the destruction of nine major terror camps in Pakistan-Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK) and across the border in Pakistan. Indian airstrikes were carried out with precision and deliberately avoided civilian or military infrastructure, according to Misri.

In a direct rebuttal to Islamabad’s propaganda, the Indian Foreign Secretary emphasized that the strikes were “controlled, precise, measured and non-escalatory” and aimed solely at verified terrorist infrastructure. Misri underscored that the Pahalgam attack was the actual escalation, carried out by Pakistan-sponsored groups.

Highlights:

  • Operation Sindoor avenged Pahalgam attack with precision airstrikes.

  • Over 100 terrorists neutralized, nine camps targeted.

  • Strikes described as non-escalatory, avoiding civilian/military targets.

Terrorist Identities and Camp Network Exposed

India revealed the identities of the five terrorists whose funeral triggered this latest diplomatic storm:

  • Mudassar Khadian Khas (LeT)

  • Khalid alias Abu Akasha (LeT)

  • Mohammed Yusuf Azhar (Jaish-e-Mohammed)

  • Hafiz Mohammed Jaleel (JeM)

  • Mohammad Hassan Khan (JeM)

The Ministry of Defence also named 21 active terror camps across Pakistan and PoJK, including: Sawal Nala, Syed na Bilal, Chelabandi, Dulai, Balakot, Kotli, Bahawalpur, Muridke, and Barali, among others. These camps continue to operate with impunity under the protection of Pakistan’s military-intelligence establishment.

India’s direct naming of individuals and camps signifies a policy shift from quiet diplomacy to strategic exposure, aimed at isolating Pakistan internationally.

Highlights:

  • Terrorists belonged to LeT and JeM; buried with state recognition.

  • India identifies 21 active terror camps in Pakistan and PoJK.

  • Shift in policy to public naming and shaming of Pakistani military complicity.

India Criticizes Pakistan’s Duplicity at UNSC, Signals Firm Policy Stance

Foreign Secretary Misri also condemned Pakistan’s recent opposition to the listing of The Resistance Front (TRF) at the United Nations Security Council, despite clear evidence of its links to LeT and JeM. “They oppose terror listings at the UNSC, yet attend funerals of the very people who carry out such attacks,” he remarked.

This diplomatic salvo marks India’s growing assertiveness in linking state-sponsored terrorism with Pakistan’s official military and political apparatus, signaling a tougher and more transparent foreign policy stance following repeated provocations.

Highlights:

  • Pakistan opposed TRF listing at UNSC while mourning LeT operatives.

  • India strengthens narrative of Pakistani state sponsorship of terrorism.

  • Foreign Secretary signals more transparency and international exposure of Pakistan’s terror links.
