Myntra, one of India’s largest fashion e-commerce platforms, has taken a big step forward by entering the international market. The company has officially launched its services in Singapore, marking its first overseas venture under the banner of Myntra Global.
While Myntra is expanding internationally, it will not be setting up a physical office in Singapore. All products ordered will continue to be shipped from India, with deliveries expected to reach customers within 4 to 7 days.
➡️ This launch is a significant milestone in Myntra’s growth journey.
The company aims to tap into the large Indian diaspora in Singapore, which has around 6.5 lakh residents of Indian origin. In fact, Singapore already has around 30,000 regular Myntra users, making it a natural and strategic choice for the brand’s international debut.
Myntra CEO Nandita Sinha highlighted that the company is introducing around 35,000 styles from over 100 popular brands. The product range will cover apparel, footwear, home, and accessories, with a strong initial focus on Indian ethnic wear.
“We want to serve our customers beyond India and bring the Myntra experience to a global audience,” said Nandita Sinha.
The company sees this move as the first of many international expansions, with more countries likely to follow through Myntra Global. The focus will remain on providing a seamless shopping experience, while also celebrating Indian fashion and culture abroad.
With this expansion, Myntra is set to cater to fashion-conscious Indians living overseas, starting with Singapore and potentially heading toward other global destinations.
