Operation Sindoor: India Strikes Back with Precision, PM Modi Monitors Overnight Action

In a bold and strategic military response, the Indian armed forces launched Operation Sindoor, targeting terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The operation comes in direct retaliation to the Pahalgam massacre, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent civilians.

PM Modi Closely Monitored Operation Sindoor Overnight

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was closely monitoring the mission throughout the night, according to sources quoted by news agency ANI. The Indian armed forces successfully struck all nine designated targets, ensuring precision and effectiveness in the operation.

Surgical Missile Strikes Hit 9 Terror Targets

The missile strikes were executed in the early hours of Wednesday, specifically targeting terror infrastructure in areas such as Bahawalpur, known to be a stronghold of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terror outfit. The Ministry of Defence confirmed these developments in a statement issued at 1:44 AM.

“The actions by the Indian armed forces have been focused, measured, and non-escalatory in nature,” the statement read.

The targets were carefully selected to ensure that no Pakistani military installations were hit, emphasizing India’s strategic restraint and commitment to avoiding unnecessary escalation.

Pakistan Reacts Strongly to Operation Sindoor

Reacting to the missile strikes, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called it an ‘act of war’ and declared that his country reserves the right to give a “befitting reply.” However, India has maintained that the operation was specifically designed to eliminate terror threats emanating from across the border.

“Operation Sindoor was aimed at destroying terrorist infrastructure from where attacks against India were being planned and directed,” said the Defence Ministry.

India Sends a Clear Message Against Terrorism

With Operation Sindoor, India has sent a clear and uncompromising message—terrorism will not be tolerated, and any attack on Indian soil will be met with a firm and calculated response.

This operation also showcases India’s capability to carry out precision strikes while maintaining diplomatic and military discipline. The nine successful hits demonstrate the preparedness and intelligence of India’s defence forces.
