Tata Motors Launches Harrier.ev Electric SUV at Rs 21.49 Lakh with Advanced Features

Tata Motors has officially launched its highly awaited Harrier.ev, an all-electric SUV priced starting at an attractive Rs 21.49 lakh. This new model is built on the next-generation acti.ev+ pure EV architecture, making it one of the most advanced electric SUVs in India. Buyers can choose from four striking colour options — Nainital Nocturne, Empowered Oxide, Pristine White, and Pure Grey — along with a special STEALTH Edition.

The Harrier.ev promises a real-world driving range of 480 to 505 km on a single charge, addressing the range anxiety often associated with electric vehicles.

Powerful Performance with Segment-Best Acceleration

One of the standout highlights of the Harrier.ev is its impressive powertrain. It features a dual-motor QWD (Quad-Wheel Drive) system delivering 504 Nm of torque, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds — the fastest in its segment.

Built on Tata Motors’ cutting-edge acti.ev+ platform, the Harrier.ev combines power and efficiency, setting new benchmarks for electric SUVs in India.

Versatile Driving with Six Advanced Terrain Modes

The Harrier.ev is designed to handle a variety of road conditions with ease. It comes equipped with six terrain modes, including Normal, Grass/Snow, Mud/Gravel, Sand, Rock Crawl, and Custom mode. This advanced terrain management system, paired with exceptional ground clearance, ensures confident driving on diverse surfaces.

Additional driving features include:

  • Boost Mode for extra power

  • Drift Mode for an engaging drive experience

  • Off-road Assist with cruise control at speeds as low as 5 km/h

  • Transparent Mode, allowing drivers to see obstacles beneath the vehicle for safer navigation

Luxurious and Innovative Interior – The Zenith Suite

Inside the Harrier.ev, passengers will enjoy the Zenith Suite, a thoughtfully crafted interior offering premium comfort and cutting-edge technology. The SUV features:

  • A Harman display powered by Samsung Neo QLED

  • Immersive Dolby Atmos acoustics for superior sound quality

  • A revolutionary 540° Surround View system that eliminates blind spots by showing even the area beneath the vehicle

These features ensure a luxurious and safe ride, redefining in-car entertainment and visibility.

Advanced Convenience and Warranty

Tata Motors is offering a lifetime warranty on the Harrier.ev’s battery pack, underscoring their confidence in the vehicle’s durability and performance.

Other innovative features include:

  • Digi Access with Ultra Wide Band (UWB) technology for hands-free unlocking

  • An e-Valet feature for enhanced security and convenience

  • The 540° Surround View system providing unmatched visibility around and under the vehicle

Battery and Charging

The Harrier.ev offers two battery pack options — 65 kWh and 75 kWh, providing long-range capabilities for varied driving needs. Thanks to fast charging at 1.5 C rate, the SUV can gain up to 250 km of range in just 15 minutes, making charging quicker and more convenient for users.

What Tata Motors Says About Harrier.ev

Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle Ltd. and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., commented:
“With the launch of Harrier.ev, we are not just introducing a new electric SUV or challenging convention—we are rewriting the rules of what’s possible. Born of legendary pedigree and engineered for tomorrow, the Harrier.ev is India’s most capable SUV.”
