The performance comfortably exceeded Street estimates, which had pegged net profit at Rs 16,714 crore.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"703\" data-end=\"859\">The bank\u2019s growth was supported by a combination of steady core operations and higher other income, reflecting resilience in its overall earnings profile.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"861\" data-end=\"1236\"><strong data-start=\"861\" data-end=\"891\">Net Interest Income Growth<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"861\" data-end=\"1236\">HDFC Bank\u2019s net interest income (NII), which measures the difference between interest earned and interest paid, increased 4.8 percent YoY to Rs 31,551.5 crore, compared to Rs 30,113.9 crore in Q2 FY25.
