Cain\u2019s remarks come at a time when President Donald Trump\u2019s Labour Department has launched nearly 200 investigations into alleged abuses of the visa system.<\/p>\n
Cain accused big companies\u2014particularly those in the tech sector\u2014of exploiting the visa programme to reduce labour costs.
He argued that the system allows employers to hire foreign workers \u201ccheaper than American workers.\u201d<\/p>\n
