The recovery lifted the Nifty Realty index into positive territory, with analysts describing the recent decline as a \u201chealthy reset\u201d rather than a sign of structural weakness.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"581\" data-end=\"723\">During morning trade on Tuesday, the Nifty Realty index rose over 1% to 898 at 10:50 am, making it the top sectoral gainer of the day.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"730\" data-end=\"768\">Top Gainers in the Realty Index<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"770\" data-end=\"879\">Multiple real estate counters participated in the rebound, with several leading stocks posting notable gains:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"881\" data-end=\"1198\">\n<li data-start=\"881\" data-end=\"971\">\n<p data-start=\"883\" data-end=\"971\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.niftytrader.in\/stocks-price\/anantraj\">Anant Raj<\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.niftytrader.in\/stocks-price\/phoenixltd\"> Phoenix Mills<\/a> were the top gainers, rising over 3% each.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"972\" data-end=\"1018\">\n<p data-start=\"974\" data-end=\"1018\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.niftytrader.in\/stocks-price\/prestige\">Prestige Estates<\/a> gained around 2%.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1019\" data-end=\"1064\">\n<p data-start=\"1021\" data-end=\"1064\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.niftytrader.in\/stocks-price\/brigade\">Brigade Enterprises<\/a> rose over 1%.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1065\" data-end=\"1198\">\n<p data-start=\"1067\" data-end=\"1198\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.niftytrader.in\/stocks-price\/sobha\">Sobha<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.niftytrader.in\/stocks-price\/godrejprop\">Godrej Properties<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.niftytrader.in\/stocks-price\/oberoirlty\">Oberoi Realty<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.niftytrader.in\/stocks-price\/dlf\">DLF<\/a>, and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.niftytrader.in\/stocks-price\/lodha\"> Macrotech Developers<\/a> (Lodha) saw gains of nearly 1% each.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1200\" data-end=\"1295\">The broad-based uptick helped reverse the pressure the sector had been under for the past week.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1200\" data-end=\"1295\"><em><strong>Also Read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.niftytrader.in\/content\/bitcoin-november-2025-crash-etf-outflows\/\">Bitcoin Tanks 21% in November, Steepest Since June 2022 as ETF Outflows Surge<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1302\" data-end=\"1376\">Analysts: Correction Was a Valuation Reset, Not Structural Weakness<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1378\" data-end=\"1684\">The Nifty Realty index had fallen more than 6% over the previous five sessions, raising concerns about whether the sector\u2019s strong momentum was weakening.<br data-start=\"1540\" data-end=\"1543\" \/>However, analysts clarified that the pullback was primarily due to stretched valuations, not a deterioration in real estate fundamentals.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1686\" data-end=\"1727\">\u201cHealthy Reset\u201d After Sharp Rally<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1729\" data-end=\"1894\">Shiv Garg, Director at Forteasia Realty, said the correction was a \u201chealthy reset\u201d, as stock prices had run significantly ahead of the sector\u2019s fundamentals.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1896\" data-end=\"2169\">According to him, demand, bookings, and pricing power remain intact, supporting the sector\u2019s long-term strength. He added that once Q4 results reaffirm cash flow strength and pre-sales momentum, select real estate companies are likely to reclaim leadership.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2171\" data-end=\"2211\">Long-Term Outlook Remains Strong<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2213\" data-end=\"2534\">Ravi Singh, Chief Research Officer at Master Capital Services, also highlighted that the sector\u2019s long-term story is intact.<br data-start=\"2341\" data-end=\"2344\" \/>He said the real estate market continues to be supported by urbanisation, infrastructure growth, and an evolving consumer base, reinforcing its role as a key economic pillar.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"2541\" data-end=\"2622\">Affordability Concerns and Premium Housing Trends Add to Recent Volatility<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2624\" data-end=\"2876\">Yash Chauhan, Research Analyst at INVasset PMS, said the recent correction also reflects concerns around stretched affordability in major micro-markets and a slower pickup in premium housing, which had driven much of the sector\u2019s re-rating.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2878\" data-end=\"3081\">However, he emphasised that this does not indicate a structural reversal, as underlying demand drivers such as urban income growth, job additions, and rental yields remain supportive.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3088\" data-end=\"3138\">What Could Drive the Next Leg of the Rally?<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3140\" data-end=\"3353\">Shravan Shetty, Managing Director at Primus Partners, said real estate stocks could sharply rise if upcoming budget measures and government reforms boost economic growth and improve sales momentum.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3355\" data-end=\"3531\">However, he also cautioned that risks remain, particularly with the affordable housing segment yet to show a sustained pickup, and rising household debt adding pressure.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"3538\" data-end=\"3587\">Analysts Expect Positive Outlook Into FY26<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3589\" data-end=\"3983\">Despite near-term volatility, the sector\u2019s medium-term outlook remains stable.<br data-start=\"3667\" data-end=\"3670\" \/>Khushi Mistry, Research Analyst at Bonanza, said structural demand in metros and financial discipline among developers support a positive outlook for FY26.
