Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has achieved a significant milestone by securing its biggest offshore hydrocarbon contract worth over \u20b915,000 crore from QatarEnergy LNG. The NFPS COMP 4 project is a vital part of QatarEnergy’s plans to expand the North Field, the world\u2019s largest natural gas reservoir.<\/p>\n The project includes:<\/p>\n Engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of two massive offshore compression complexes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Large offshore platforms integrated with compression and power generation facilities<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Living quarters, flare platforms, interconnected bridges, and associated structures<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Offshore installations situated 80 km off the northeast coast of Qatar<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n This contract significantly bolsters L&T\u2019s expertise in executing large-scale offshore hydrocarbon projects, strengthening its presence in the Middle East.<\/p>\n Following the announcement, L&T\u2019s stock gained 0.78% to an intraday high of \u20b93,496.8 per share on the NSE.
