The rally came after the defence PSU announced a major win\u2014a \u20b92,210 crore contract from the Ministry of Defence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"428\" data-end=\"735\">This latest order is for the supply of advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) suites for the Indian Air Force\u2019s Mi-17V5 helicopters. The project is aimed at enhancing India&#8217;s self-reliance in defence technology and marks another significant milestone in BEL\u2019s journey of supporting the country\u2019s armed forces.<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"737\" data-end=\"883\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"739\" data-end=\"883\">This deal reinforces BEL\u2019s critical role in India\u2019s defence indigenisation drive and boosts its standing in the defence manufacturing space.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"885\" data-end=\"1027\">With this fresh contract, BEL&#8217;s total order intake for FY25 now stands at \u20b92,803 crore, providing a positive start to the new fiscal year.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1029\" data-end=\"1072\">BEL\u2019s Recent Performance and Order Book<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1074\" data-end=\"1389\">Earlier on April 1, the company disclosed provisional figures for FY24, revealing a 16% jump in turnover to \u20b923,000 crore, compared to \u20b919,820 crore in the previous financial year. However, it fell short of its order guidance target of \u20b925,000 crore, reporting total orders worth \u20b918,715 crore for FY24.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1391\" data-end=\"1451\">Some of the key orders BEL received during the year include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1452\" data-end=\"1622\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1452\" data-end=\"1472\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1454\" data-end=\"1472\">BMP II Upgrade<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1473\" data-end=\"1492\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1475\" data-end=\"1492\">Ashwini Radar<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1493\" data-end=\"1522\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1495\" data-end=\"1522\">Software Defined Radios<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1523\" data-end=\"1539\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1525\" data-end=\"1539\">Data Links<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1540\" data-end=\"1567\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1542\" data-end=\"1567\">Multi-Function Radars<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1568\" data-end=\"1580\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1570\" data-end=\"1580\">EON 51<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1581\" data-end=\"1622\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1583\" data-end=\"1622\">Non-defence sector projects as well<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1624\" data-end=\"1781\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1626\" data-end=\"1781\">This latest contract strengthens BEL\u2019s order book and boosts investor sentiment, especially at a time when the market is looking for positive triggers.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"1783\" data-end=\"1794\">Outlook<\/h3>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1796\" data-end=\"2092\">With the new fiscal year underway and continued focus on indigenous defence procurement, BEL is well-positioned to benefit from the government&#8217;s push for Make-in-India in the defence sector.
