The announcement came during the Invest UP roundtable, held at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on May 27, where top industry players pledged investments totalling \u20b969,000 crore.<\/p>\n

Avaada Group\u2019s Vice Chairman, Sindoor Mittal, unveiled plans to invest \u20b920,000 crore in the solar energy sector. This move not only highlights the growing focus on green energy but also positions Uttar Pradesh as a preferred destination for renewable energy investments.<\/p>\n

UltraTech Cement Commits \u20b91,981 Cr for Infrastructure Development<\/h3>\n

UltraTech Cement\u2019s Managing Director, KC Jhanwar, announced projects worth \u20b91,981 crore across Aligarh, Shahjahanpur, and Tanda. These investments are expected to enhance regional infrastructure and support the state\u2019s development goals.<\/p>\n

Tata Power Plans \u20b913,700 Cr Power Project in Bundelkhand<\/h3>\n

In a significant step towards improving power infrastructure, Tata Power Renewable Energy CEO, Sanjay Banga, revealed plans for two 800 MW ultra-supercritical power units in Bundelkhand. The \u20b913,700 crore investment will play a key role in meeting the region\u2019s growing energy demand.<\/p>\n

India\u2019s First Green PLA Plant Coming to UP: Balrampur Chini Leads Innovation<\/h3>\n

One of the most notable announcements came from Balrampur Chini Mills, which signed an MoU with the UP government to establish India\u2019s first 250 TPD Polylactic Acid (PLA) plant at Kumbhi Chini Mills in Lakhimpur Kheri.<\/p>\n

The \u20b92,850 crore plant will use sugarcane as raw material to produce eco-friendly polymers and is expected to create 225 jobs.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to the company, this will be India\u2019s first integrated site where sugarcane will be converted into PLA, marking a significant milestone in the green manufacturing space. The project is expected to start operations this month.<\/p>\n

Invest UP Roundtable Brings Together Industry and Policymakers<\/h3>\n

The high-powered session was chaired by UP Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh and moderated by Invest UP CEO Vijay Kiran Anand.<\/p>\n

Invest UP, a dedicated agency to promote investments in the state, organized the roundtable and shared insights and updates from the event on social media platform X.<\/p>\n
