MAHLIFE

In 1998, MLDL or Mahindra Lifespace Developers was being incorporated and were engaged in the development of the real estate in the residential and commercial sectors. Also, it is a subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra and was previously known as the Mahindra Gesco Developers. It has also built a reputation for creating not just buildings but also nurturing the breathing, living, and healthy life spaces. Also under the residential sector, it is involved in projects such as Mahindra Eminente, Belvedere Court, Mahindra Gardens, GE Gardens, Mahindra Royale, Mahindra Chloris Sylvan County, The Woods, and Mahindra Splendour. To date, it has accomplished several residential projects of about 3 million sq ft, and the other 2.97 million sq ft are under several stages of development. It also received the ISO 9001:2000 certification for its quality management. Also, Under the commercial sector, it has been part of projects such as GE Plaza in Pune, HDFC Bank in Chennai, GE Centre in Delhi, Mahindra Towers in Delhi, GE Plaza in Bangalore, The Regency in Gurgaon, GE Chambers in New Mumbai, GE Galleria, and more. In Addition to residential and commercial sectors, it is also engaged in the business of acquiring, establishing, developing and maintaining Industrial Technology Parks, Parks, Software Parks, Special Economic Zones (or SEZs), Integrated Townships, Export Processing Zone, Industrial Areas, and Estates. The Company has promoted India’s first operational Special Economic Zone (or SEZ) and the country's first integrated Business City in the public-private partnership model such as Mahindra World City, in New Chennai. Also, it launched Mahindra World City in Jaipur and also has a building SEZs located in Thane near Mumbai and Karla near Pune. For the expansion of its operational portfolio, it has forayed in the international market via the SEZ route in Sri Lanka. It also operates subsidiaries such as Mahindra World City Developers (or MWCDL), Mahindra Integrated Township, Mahindra World City (in Jaipur), Mahindra World City (in Maharashtra), Mahindra Technology Park, Mahindra Infrastructure Developers, and Mahindra Residential Developers. In the year 2007-08, it formalized its joint venture terms, along with Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (or MIDC), which is a Government of Maharashtra undertaking. But the acquisition of the land for this SEZ did not begin.

  • The Company’s project– The Woods, Wakad, in Pune received AESA Gold Award, under The Best Project in the Group Housing section in the year 2008. It also received Accommodation Times Award in the year 2007.
  • Mahindra Royale Project (in Pune) was rewarded the Golden Peacock National Quality Award in the year 2007.
  • It was also honored with CNBC Awaaz CRISIL Real Estate Awards in 2007 for the Most Transparent System.
