Its registered office was originally located at 25, Nehru Place, New Delhi 110 019, India. According to a Board resolution as of September 16, 2003, and then the registered office was being shifted to B- 9, Maharani Bagh, New Delhi 110 065, India. Soon after, according to the Board resolution as of February 10, 2006, then the registered office of the company was being shifted to Piccadily House, 275- 276, 4th Floor, Captain Gaur Marg, Srinivas Puri, New Delhi 110 065, India that is also the current Registered Office.

Some of the Milestones:

  • June 2001: The commissioning of Fortis Hospital, Mohali took place.
  • August 2003: The inauguration and commissioning of Fortis Hospital, Amritsar took place.
  • October 2003: It executed an agreement with Seth Jessa Ram as well as Bros Charitable Hospital Trust for both the operation and management of Jessa Ram Hospital, New Delhi.
  • August 200: Also, the commissioning of Fortis Hospital, Noida.
  • September 2005: It acquired 90% of the equity share capital of the Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre Limited that resulted in the acquisition of EHSSIL, EHCL, EHSSHL, and EHRCL.
  • January 2006:

  • 2004: It inked a deal with Jessa Ram Hospital to take over the management of the hospital.

  • Its healthcare signed $33.33m pre-IPO deals.
  • It was being incorporated as of February 28, 1996, as Rancare Limited under the Companies Act.

It purchased 75% equity in Advanced Oral Care Products (in Goa), Professional Oral Care Products (in Goa) and SS Oral Hygiene Products (in Hyderabad).

  • 2009:
  • It completed the Wockhardt Hospital Acquisition.
